They will not collapse of give way, as, open cell foam can. They will not compact or bunch up, or absorb or hold heat. Adjuctable nylon straps hold the cushion firmly in place, preventing the sliding & shifting problems experienced with other seat savers. The Tush Cush does not interfere with your balance & seat in the saddle. It just makes it more comfortable.
